Couples, individuals or small groups take private lessons for different reasons. A private teaching environment is beneficial for achieving refinement of technique, better understanding and characterisation of the dance, and for added styling and expression.

You may want to learn a specific dance for a special occasion. Private lessons are perfect because the focus is on what you want to learn.

Perhaps you may want to catch up with a particular group. Private lessons can also give you the chance to brush up on what you have learned in the group class and move ahead more quickly.

Or if you are motivated to dance competitively or wishing to be adjudicated for medals, we can help you with your training and routines.

Private lessons are available by appointment at a cost of $55 per hour or $30 per half hour.

Cheek-to-Cheek also arranges couples for dance demonstrations for parties and functions - from large corporate events to private birthday parties.

At Cheek-to-Cheek, we can assist bridal couples in the preparation for their special moment on the dance floor, in creating the right dance to suit the mood of their chosen music or we can help you select something, be it a Rumba, Swing or traditional Bridal Waltz.

Lessons for the Bridal dance are usually conducted as a private lesson at a cost of $55 per hour. If you wish at some stage for the bridal party to join in on the fun, we can arrange a private group lesson at an affordable price. Or perhaps you may wish to attend one of our beginners dance courses initially to get you started.
